Financial Information
Approximately 65% of revenues are expected to be generated from private individuals, corporations, civic- and faith-organizations, foundations and program fees for service.
TESSA currently receives approximately 30 percent to 40 percent of its funding annually from grants through the federal U.S. Justice Department’s Office On Violence Against Women, and from Colorado state and local government entities. We believe government support is appropriate because of the impact of domestic violence and sexual assault on community safety and family welfare, and because such violence is a root cause of so many other social ills (homelessness, hunger, etc.).
