Presentations and Trainings for our Community

TESSA provides outreach, education, and training for schools, businesses, civic groups, faith-based organizations and others about the issues of Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault (DVSA) and our services. TESSA staff also provide trainings for professionals who routinely encounter DVSA victims through their work or other affiliations. These professionals include teachers and school administrators, church personnel, and law enforcement to name just a few. Specific topics/titles include:

  • Healthy & Unhealthy Relationships
  • Bystander Intervention
  • Cut It Out (Education, Resource Information, and Safe Intervention for Professionals in the Beauty & Spa Industries)

The goal of TESSA's Outreach and Education efforts is to change the way our community understands and talks about intimate partner violence. We want to change the discussion around DVSA and inspire a community intolerant of violence in any form.
