Throughout the month, there are a variety of educational and interactive events planned. We invite you to attend as many events as you can because we need everyone’s help in ending sexual violence.

April 8
Finding Our Voices 10th Annual Art Exhibit
Activities start at 11:00am
Cottonwood Center for the Arts, 427 E Colorado Ave 
Finding Our Voices will be hosting an art exhibit at Cottonwood’s 2nd floor theater highlighting work by survivors. This event will include: refreshments, live music, door prizes, poetry and live performance. Visit http://findingourvoicescs.org/for more information. 

April 11
Bristol Brewing Karma Hour 
5:00 – 9:00pm

Bristol Brewing at Ivywild 1604 S Cascade Ave.
Bring a friend and enjoy some relaxation and conversation on Tuesday April 11 at the Bristol Pub, from 5:00-9:00pm. Bristol Brewing Company is hosting Karma Hour, and for every pint sold during this time, $1 will be donated to TESSA.

Denim Day
In 1999, an Italian Supreme Court decision overturned a 1992 rape conviction because the victim wore tight jeans, reasoning she must have helped her attacker remove them, and therefore could not have been assaulted.  Wear your jeans with a purpose this year.
