Holiday Shoppe

Holiday Shoppe helps more than 100 families annually, providing the opportunity for adults and children to exchange gifts during the holiday season as they work with TESSA to build lives of safety and self-sufficiency. TESSA Families are invited to the main office to ‘shop’ from a variety of new items (all donations from our generous community) and of course, all ‘shopping’ is free. Guardians and children can also have the gifts they’ve selected wrapped so they leave ready for their holiday celebration.

This Year’s Holiday Shoppe is scheduled for December 11-13.

Volunteer opportunities during the event include:

  • Greeter: Greeters meet clients at the front desk and escort them to the basement at their shopping time. They also help clients shop as needed.
  • Shopper: Shoppers guide families through the different shopping areas and help them do their holiday shopping. They then bring gifts to the gift wrap station.
  • Gift Wrapper: Gift wrappers wrap and tag gifts for families. All supplies are provided.
  • Stocker: Stockers replenish the shopping rooms as needed.

Volunteer shifts are two hours each. Shifts start at 8:45am and the last shift ends at 5:00pm.
