Any information you provide either in writing or through verbal communication with any TESSA staff or volunteer is kept confidential unless you release us to share the information with another person/agency.
Please understand, however, that by law, TESSA must break confidentiality in the following circumstances:
- Suspicion of child abuse/neglect (TESSA staff and volunteers are mandated by law to report harm or neglect to a child to the Department of Human Services)

TESSA recognizes that you face significant barriers to accessing law enforcement and systems of care if you are a family of color, same-gender couple, or family whose legal status compromises its comfort and whose use of law enforcement may have different ramifications than that of a majority-culture family. TESSA is open to discussing this issue but recommends the use of 911 in times of crisis that threaten life or serious injury.

Traveling Directions
If you are travelling from North Colorado Springs: Take I-25 South to the Tejon/Nevada exit. Continue accross Tejon to Nevada. Travel south (right) on Nevada until you see the Myron Stratton Campus on the left (just past Lake Ave.). Take a left through the gates and continue onto the campus. Follow the signs for TESSA straight, the building is on the right.
If you are travelling from South Colorado Springs: Take I-25 North to the Tejon/Nevada exit. Travel south (left) on Nevada until you see the Myron Stratton Campus on the left (just past Lake Ave.). Take a left through the gates and continue onto the campus. Follow the signs for TESSA, the building is the first one on the right.
If you are travelling from Eastern El Paso County: Take Highway 24 west into Colorado Springs. Highway 24 will turn into Platte Avenue. Take Platte east into downtown. Take a left onto Nevada. Travel south on Nevada until you see the Myron Stratton Campus on the left (just past Lake Ave.). Take a left through the gates and continue onto the campus. Follow the signs for TESSA straight, the building is on the right.
If you are travelling from Teller County: Take Highway 24 east into Colorado Springs. Highway 24 will turn into Cimarron Street. Travel east on Cimarron until you get to Nevada. Travel south (right) on Nevada until you see the Myron Stratton Campus on the left (just past Lake Ave.). Take a left through the gates and continue onto the campus. Follow the signs for TESSA straight, the building is on the right.
