More about Pasta in the Park...

Pasta Sauce Cook-Off

All Pasta in the Park guests will have the chance to cast their vote for the night’s Best Pasta Sauce. The top three vote-getters will receive prizes and recognition during the evening’s program. ‘Best’ may mean more than simply tastiest. Guests have been known to throw a vote or two to the most entertaining teams or those with the best theme (costumes are a plus!). Each team’s recipe will be included in the Pasta Program & Cookbook, a copy of which will go to each event attendee and Cook-Off team member.

Wine & Beer Tastings

TESSA brings together a diverse selection of local brewers and vintners to offer a wide variety of both aroma and flavor. Whether you prefer a hoppy IPA or a fruity chardonnay, we’ll have something that suites your pallet.

TESSA-tinis

TESSA’s own cocktail! The recipe has changed throughout the years but the result is always tasty.

Live Auction

Prepare yourself for an experience of a lifetime! The live auction items are few but memorable. Past items include: “A Day with an Olympian”, a Napa Valley Getaway, and the chance to be a “Fighter Pilot for a Day”.

Silent Auction

From Sky Sox tickets to a spa day, we have something to appeal to all interests and all pocketbooks. TESSA will have over 50 items or experiences on which to bid, with opening bids starting anywhere between $20 and $250.

Cork Pull

Corks can be purchased for $20 each or six for $100. Participants pull a numbered cork and receive a bag of wine with the corresponding number. All bags contain one to two bottles of wine with a minimum value of $25, although many individual bottles are worth far more than that. The 2014 Cork Pull selection included over 120 bottles of wine, ranging in value from $10 to $125!

If you wish to donate wine to the Cork Pull, wine can be purchased and donated at the following locations in Colorado Springs:

Coal Train Wine & Spirts - 330 West Uintah Street

DSH Liquors at Costco - 5046 North Nevada Avenue

Sovereignty Wines - 1785 South 8th Street
