TESSA is continually looking for partners in the community to help us with current and ongoing needs. If you, your business, or a group you are a part of feel inclined to give to a local organization focused on helping those in need in our community, please take a minute to read over the needs listed below! Questions? Contact Development & Outreach Coordinator Rica 719.785.6813 or [email protected].
Needed Items for our clients
Imagine having to flee your home right now in order to protect yourself and/or your children. What could you grab on the way out the door without wasting a second? Probably not much. Most of the more than 900 women and children who find safe shelter in our Safehouse arrive with very little.
Needed Services/Expertise
While we prefer to be thought of as a high-impact agency, they don’t call us nonprofit for nothin’. Prefer to donate your time and skills? Then let’s talk! We’ve been the grateful recipients of many services over the years, services that can be the difference between money spent on things and money spent on survivors. Here are a few ideas, but we’d love to hear what you have in mind whether it’s listed below or not:
• Interior Painting
• Printing of Informational/Educational Materials
• Handyman Projects
• Sponsor a Donation Drive
Needed Support for all Survivors
Accessibility to support services for survivors is paramount and for those ready to start new lives, the simplest things can mean the most. You can give someone the opportunity to get life-changing help or change their life by donating:
• Baby Wipes
• Gas Cards
• Bus Passes
• Used or New Cell Phones
• Grocery Cards
Needs at TESSA are ever-changing. To inquire about donating items not listed above, or to learn how and where to make a donation, please email us or call 719.785.6817.
