Volunteer

Volunteers are an essential part of TESSA’s mission, helping us reach more survivors and provide critical support to individuals and families in our community. Their time, compassion, and dedication strengthen the services we offer and ensure that those experiencing domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking have access to the advocacy, resources, and care they deserve.

Depending on a volunteer’s area of interest, additional training may be required, and all volunteers receive ongoing education and support throughout their time with TESSA. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old, and opportunities are thoughtfully matched to ensure the best fit for both the volunteer and the organization. Groups interested in volunteering require additional coordination and should contact the Volunteer Coordinator directly to explore available opportunities.

Group Volunteer Requests

TESSA welcomes group volunteers who are interested in supporting the organization through one time or short term projects. These opportunities vary based on the season and current needs and may include helping with events, organizing donations, preparing spaces, or supporting special projects. Group volunteer efforts provide a meaningful way for teams, organizations, and community groups to contribute together while supporting the work that helps survivors across our community.
