Safehouse
TESSA’s Safehouse provides emergency shelter, case management, therapeutic services, and support to survivors who are at the highest risk of continued violence or harm. While placement is based on specific safety and lethality factors, we encourage anyone experiencing abuse to contact TESSA. Our team will help assess each unique situation and connect individuals with the most appropriate services.
Safehouse residents have access to a wide range of wraparound supports, including:
Confidential Advocacy
Case management for adults and children
Assistance with Protection Orders and Family Law through TESSA's Legal Department and external referrals
Individual and group therapy options
We also provide connections to local resources to help with:
• Securing permanent housing
• Finding employment
• Accessing childcare
• Exploring adult education options
