School & Youth Presentations
TESSA’s Prevention Education programming reaches thousands of students every year in El Paso, Douglas, and Teller Counties. We partner with school districts, private schools, and community organizations to provide free prevention education aimed at creating positive change within our community.Our engaging and age-appropriate presentations meet the Colorado State Comprehensive Health Academic Standards and are facilitated by trauma-informed, and confidential TESSA advocates. We offer presentations ranging from one hour, day-long classroom takeovers, or monthly programing. Our scheduling is flexible and can adapt to meet your needs including subject matter, length of session and audience size. Community Presentations
TESSA works throughout the Pikes Peak region with colleges, businesses, community associations, judicial system partners, and faith-based organizations. Our goal is to change the community conversation around DVSA, fuel social change in the forms of bystander intervention and collective intolerance, and highlight the reality that these are community-wide problems that deserve community-wide solutions.
